Admission and Discharge Instructions
a. With an Admission Card, you can book a bed in the ward and register your admission at In-patient Admissions.
b. Please fill out Lanzhou University Second Hospital Admission Form and make sure that it is consistent with your current ID card, to ensure eligibility for reimbursement.
c. Please show any medical insurance documents to our staff and we will confirm if you are covered with us.
d. You will be required to show your admission card and pay an admission deposit (based on your estimated length of stay)
e. Please?take good care of?the?deposit voucher,?which is needed when you?checkout.
f. When you are prepared to go home, you will be required to show a discharge note with an official seal of the hospital, a diagnosis certificate, and details of the hospitalization costs, at the Account Settlement Office. After the settlement a clerk issues the final statement and all materials are stamped.
g. The final statement, discharge certificate, details of the hospitalization costs and other materials are provided only one time. Take care of all materials, for we can not reissue replacements.
h. You can consult relative insurance information at B1 Medical Insurance Office.
i. You can inquire the cost by an automatic inquiry machine at the Outpatient Department.
j. You can go through the medical record copy at F1 in Children’s Hospital.
k. No smoking on hospital premises, your corporation will be appreciated.

Hospitals and?wards?are public places where there are lots of different people,? so safety is the common?concern of all of us.??
Safety of personal articles: Do not?bring or carry?too many?personal articles or?valuable?personal articles?into the?ward.
Personal safety: Beware of?the presence of bad?persons.?The balcony is?off limits, and the wards?are the private?places of inpatients, where nobody can take pictures?or record a video?without the permission of the hospital office. Throwing objects from on high is prohibited.?? ?
Fire Safety: ?Flammable?materials?should not be?brought into wards.?A naked flame is prohibited within 10 meters?of gas pipelines.? Do not use?the elevator?should a?fire?occur. Don’t touch any of the fire-fighting equipment. In?case of?an accident,?please follow the?commands of the hospital staff, and leave the scene safely.
